If I knew the answer to this, figuring out where I’d like my career to go would be so much easier.  I like to write, help animals, read, work with computers, have flexibility, etc… Any ideas on what job I should have?  I’m tired of thinking about it.

I really enjoy travel planning.  I’d probably be a great travel agent but with the internet they aren’t really necessary.

Just recently we’ve started going to Sticks and Pucks – hockey ice time where you can work on handling the pucks – other than that I like to relax on Sundays

oh man, i joined netflix last year i should have an answer for this. i am going to say grand torino because it sticks out most in my mind. or you know, couples retreat

i don’t sleep with the top sheet, i use a blanket and comforter and they are both definitely not tucked in

no i always think i should but it’s a lot of work – i’ve tried and always fell out of the habit

I’m popping my wee bit Wednesday cherry because I like the questions this week.  Whenever I see a blogger post one I think, “Oh I want to do that” but never get around to it.  So here we go…

{one} did you buy a christmas tree this year?

This will be the first year we don’t have a Christmas tree.  We had planned to go cut one down but December has this funny way of rushing by in a blink of an eye.  Instead, I settled for hanging lights on the potted plant and hanging my favorite ornaments around the living room.

{two} what is your favorite holiday tradition?

Singing the 12 days of Christmas on Christmas Eve with my family. Here is an inebriated 14sec version of this from 2 years ago.

{three} do you open your gifts on christmas eve or christmas day?

One on Christmas Eve – pj’s and the rest on Christmas morning. I wake up at 7am.

{four} at what age did you stop believing in santa claus?

7 or 8

{five} do you fill stockings?

My mom used to put chapstick, socks and other little things in my stocking.  Now they are more of a decoration.

{six} handmade presents or store bought presents?

I used to make cookies for my aunts and uncles and we would buy presents for the kids. Now I buy homemade stuff from Etsy.

{seven} do you have a favorite christmas meal?

My dad makes pancit and adobo for all the holidays

{eight} is your christmas tree real or artificial?

Real! (most years lol)

{nine} what is your favorite christmas song?

I want a hippopotamus for christmas- my mom and i used to sing it while baking cookies because hippos were my papa’s favorite animal.  I also love Mariah Carey’s All I want for Christmas is You and O Come all Ye Faithful.

{ten} did you send out christmas cards this year?

I just finished writing the second batch and will send them out soon!
