& that's the way life goes

I’m definitely enjoying the weather. Fall is beautiful when the sun is shining. Here are some pics from my walk at lunch.

I took a walk at lunch today, the sun was peaking in and out and it’s a balmy 35 degrees. I know that doesn’t sound like a heat wave but believe me it is. I actually was ok without my gloves and hat. Yippee! But when I got back my head was numb, like maybe it froze sometime in the last half mile.

There was actually a point to my walk, I was looking for the Zen Buddhist Temple. Google maps says it’s about .8 miles from my building. I was surprised at what I found.

Yep the Temple is actually this older yellow house with a brick wall around it. I wish the door would have been open so I could have explored. I’m extremely intrigued. So after finding it I turned around and I passed this little park:

Next to it was a To-Go Sushi place. As I walked by I thought “I don’t know if I’d eat sushi there, what if it was bad. It might not be, but what if it was?” I might brave it one day.

Thank you for the break Mother Nature, I know you are getting ready to hit us again with another 5-10 inches of snow this weekend. *sigh*
