Pieces of Me – May 2011

I like:

watching my hockey teams win † playing with puppies † vacations with C † wandering around on vacation with no place to go and no time restrictions † feeling strong † the amazing amount of support I’ve gotten from everyone that has donated to the Kidney Foundation in memory of my Mom

I don’t like:

looking at all the homeless puppies on petfinder † letting people make me feel like I’m not worthy † Scooby still not eating regularly but it’s slowly getting better

I want you to know:

I want to cut back on taekwondo for awhile but I have no idea what I want to take up instead that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.  Also, gas prices are really starting to stress me out.

I’ve planned:

Some really exciting things for the summer.

I want to say to someone:

Are you seriously mad at me because I had to reschedule our plans?

Pieces of Me – April 2011

Late again…

I like:

travel planning † hockey games † doggie cuddles † ghettoblaster beer † swell of love I felt during a really rough time

I don’t like:

making the hardest decision I’ve had to make † the anxiety my trip is bringing me, I just have to keep reminding myself to “not borrow trouble” † my doggies being sad 

I want you to know:

I’m trying very hard not to stress out that the money we spent on Nani’s care was all of our vacation money plus some.

I’ve planned:

To take deep breaths and take it one moment at a time.

I want to say to someone:

It’s hard but it seems like you are almost ready to let go and find someone that is a better fit for you.

Pieces of Me – March 2011

I am on time this month! I was counting down the days of February because it was a long month with only 28 days.

I like:

Tampa Bay Lightning (haha, ok I’m annoying, I know) † sunshine  † celebrating birthdays † looking at houses in other states just for shits and giggles † going to Wings games 

I don’t like:

my 35 mile each way commute † Nani being sick and not knowing if the new antibiotics are going to help  † Scooby not eating because Nani is acting weird † Liko’s bad doggie breath

I want you to know:

C is going to be 35 at the end of this month!

I’ve planned:

To take my laptop to Ireland.  I know I said last month I wasn’t going to but I might want it to dump pictures and what not.  I really wish I had a netbook or ipad to take.

I want to say to someone:

Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Pieces of Me – February 2011

A little late (again!)…but here it is

I like:

getting ready for Tampa † Datsyuk being back † finally booking our flight to Ireland † bloggy buddies † haircuts † picking the weekend for girls weekend even if it’s 5 months in advance † fun girls nights

I don’t like:

2 hour long commutes † my contacts irritating my eyes † chest colds and dry noses † static-y hair (help!)

I want you to know:

I am so excited to finally be taking a trip to Europe that I could pee my pants – I have also been having some anxiety, something is going to happen and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to be good

I’ve planned:

To leave my cell phone at home and just rely on internet cafes while we are in Ireland and a part of me wants to freak out about it.

I want to say to someone:

Being good at holding grudges and being self-absorbed all the time makes me wonder if we’ll always be best friends or if you’ll shut me out like you did before. I won’t beg to be friends again, ever.

A little late…but here it is

I like:

having a week off without having to take vacation † gilmore girls † watching my dogs get excited for christmas presents † being a travel agent † new boots  † planning girl fun days

I don’t like:

january because it’s so cold † waiting for a response to an email † dealing with finances † making resolutions

I want you to know:

I really want to read 3MPH: The adventures of one woman’s walk around the world by Polly Letofsky

I’ve planned:

Two vacations – one small the other is HUGE. I can’t wait to share the details.  I booked the tickets for the small trip but I’m playing the wait out the price game on the HUGE trip.   The way we roll is we book tickets a couple months before we leave.  That way it’s less of a countdown and we usually get better ticket prices.  We are so lucky that our jobs allow us to do that.

I want to say to someone:
