I feel like I look in this picture. I’m all “fuck you” for no reason at all. Nothing irritating is going on and work is ok for the most part.

housekeeping

bwahahahaha

Anyhow, I’ve been a bad blogger so let’s do a little housekeeping around here. If I’m not cleaning my house I should be cleaning up somewhere and this is easier to do away from home. This is also known as quite photo heavy.

My BFF non-blood related sister LP turned 30 on February 5. We went out for a fancy dinner and I spent a nauseating amount of money. I did find an awesome champagne that is also made in Michigan that I adore and you can order it online. It’s called Sex which just makes it even better.

Bessie had a housewarming party that was hosted by Durex (thank you houseparty.com) – which means we blew up the extra large condoms and tossed them around like adult balloons.

it may or may not left lube stains on the ceiling

Our second annual Michigan Blogger meetup was a total success with 19 bloggers showing up to hang out in Ann Arbor. FTW!

I consumed my first Valentine’s Day cupcakes with some very cool ladies who I love

C has proven that the house would fall apart without him. On Saturday he was both a plumber and electrician. Our bathroom sink has been clogged for quite some time, no I’m not telling you how long because that would be gross, but we needed to do something about it because LP is going to be staying at our house. He got the drain snake out and went at it from the sink, then took off some pipe and when that didn’t work he had the brilliant idea to use his air compressor. It worked and we don’t have to pay a plumber, woohoo! We finally bought a light fixture/ceiling fan to replace this ridiculous one in our kitchen (again I’m not telling you how long we went without because that would show our laziness), he had to redo some wiring and voila LIGHT in the kitchen.

It’s hard to believe that I only met Jenni, Lauryn, Sarah, Mandy, Mae and Megan a year ago! We have had so many fun adventures in 2010 and I know there are more to come. I never thought I’d make such great friends by blogging but clearly I’m so glad I did. C always fakes embarrassment when I say that I’m Irish. Clearly, it’s buried under my Filipino genes. But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a Guinness, the color green, shamrocks or kisses cuz I’m Irish. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

I hadn’t read Brandy’s blog until I saw the pleas on other’s blogs when her Hot Awesome Dude was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.

And then I was completely floored at 12pmEST when the internet was flooded with this:

I woke up this morning thinking about Sarah’s vision board. Then it got me thinking of the great ideas/projects/posts of the bloggers I read. Jenn’s Last Decade List and Ashalah’s Blog Valentine just to name a couple.

I opened up my reader this morning and it was like Jenn had read my mind. Her post by far totally blows mine out of the water. I love how she takes images from the blogs she is mentioning (so I’m stealing the idea! I hope she doesn’t mind). She is super thoughtful and creative with her posts.
