Nani

IMG_0205
I have had Nani since she was a puppy. She is for a fact a drama queen, she’ll cry like she’s dying if you barely step on her paw. She feels shame when she has poo stuck on her butt. She hates to cuddle unless it’s on her terms. She likes guys. C thinks it’s just him and most of the time I let him think that. When he first met Nani he thought she was a spoiled dog and ignored her. After time she grew on him and I’ve accepted I’ll never be her favorite.

LikoIMG_0247

C and I adopted Liko when we lived in Florida. I wanted a dog, I had never lived without one. We were renting a condo and had a tiny “backyard” so we thought it was only right we get a small dog. Neither one of us had ever had a small dog, much less an abused and sheltered pup. Liko was a challenge it took 6 months for him to come around. I think moving back to Michigan and taking Nani back from my dad helped in Liko’s recovery. Liko is a crabby old man. He’s nosy and when he gets frustrated or excited he bites on things (leash, his blanket, etc. He loves cuddling with me at night and follows me around in the morning when I get ready.

Scooby

IMG_0270
We adopted Scooby from a rescue league. He is not the brightest crayon in the box. He always has a look of ‘duh’ on his face. His eyes and ears are very expressive. We aren’t sure of his story but we have noticed that he likes girls. He is apprehensive of new males in his life. Once he gets to know you though he’s fine. He will also bark at anything new that he is unsure of. He loves to play with other dogs.

I also have 2 guinea pigs named Spike & Bobble. Bobble is the new addition, she is named that because her head moves like a bobblehead.
