Continuing my Betty Crocker ways, I made empanadas last night. Meh, they were ok but it was more work than I wanted it to be, mostly rolling out the dough. I would have rather just bought wheat tortillas and stuffed them.
I’m going to be honest with you. I’ve kind of lost my voice*. I’m not even sure what I should be putting up in my little corner of the internet. I’m tired of doing bullet points of the crap rattling around in my head.
This is NOT my goodbye to blogging or letting you know I’m taking a break. I kind of hate those types of posts. This is me asking you where do you look for inspiration? When you are in a funk, where do you find creativity and things to spark imagination and ideas? Yeah, cuz I could use that right about now.

Also – a story that makes me giggle. More of a chuckle, really. I could care less about my 10 year high school reunion this summer, but Shell has threatened if she decides to go she is dragging me kicking and screaming. And JP started dating someone we went to school with and he wants to go so she is reluctantly agreeing. *rolls eyes* So it looked as though I was going. BUT today I saw on facebook our class president finally got an answer from our school. They spent all our class money on a new theater system. So we have $0. HAHAHAHAHA They are frantically trying to think of ways to raise money for a deposit on a hall and whatever else they need. They figure they can pay for the rest with ticket sales. Pshhh….I hope they don’t succeed. Muhahahaha

hmm… are they even allowed to take your class money like that??? I’m lucky enough where my class doesn’t really care to keep up with each other and do reunions. Basically, if you want to see someone, you just go home to the bars. lol.
and my inspiration? hmm.. good question since I seem to lose it often
I think I just try to keep pluggin’ away at it or take a few days away and then something usually happens and i’m all OMG PEOPLE! 
I’m one of those ‘have to be organised’ types otherwise i would never sit down to blog (as you can tell by the little posting i have been doing while i have been on leave). I do sometimes find it hard to get inspired to post something but by the time i have read through my reader i have lots of ideas again because y’all are so flippin inspiring!
Sometimes inspiration is simply non-existant for me. It comes and goes just like anything else, which is why when I find some I try to ride that wave as long as possible and work on a few blog posts in advance, lol! We all go through those phases though and our blogs all have their lame periods. We’re human, it’s understandable.
Also, I am so not going to my reunions without my best friend either, so I totally understand that! You’ve gotta have a wing man, right!?

If you’re not loving your life,a nd not coming up with good stories to tell it might be your brain telling you that you need to go do soemthing amazing. Go do something that you can’t wait to tell people about!

@Lorien, oh if only i could be creative and think of something. instead i create unnecessary drama lol
I struggle with this sometimes too. I’ll go for days or weeks without writing anything and I think that’s ok. I think it’s better to not say anything at all unless you have something good to say.
That being said, don’t underestimate yourself. I bet you have tonnes of stuff going on that you could write about and you just don’t realize it. I know I have so many unfinished posts because I get discouraged because they aren’t coming out ‘right’. But I bet if I just forced myself to finish them it would be fine.
I think this whole blogging thing is a real mix of discipline and whim.

you are such a dork! you really think they won’t have the reunion?? lol. YOURE GOING!
ALTHOUGH…. I think it’s REALLY dumb to have it between Christmas/New Years. People have enough going on with family and spending so much money that time of year… not cool… just not cool…
