I’m like a little (Filipino/Irish/English/French/Czech) Betty Crocker!
I started off with tropical fruit an macadamia nut pancakes, turkey sausage & fruit

After shopping I made chocolate chip with walnut cookies and homemade granola bars. It’s really flexible for you to add whatever your heart desires. Since it was my first time I followed the recipe minus the cranberries because I forgot to buy them. I also added a little honey. I think next time I’d play with it a little bit more. Maybe add some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to start. They were really quick, I think it took me 10 minutes to stir the ingredients and throw the pan in the oven.
While I was in the kitchen today I started compiling a wish list of things I wish I had.
Kitchen Aid Mixer in red
New metal measuring spoons & cups

What is your kitchen missing?

I could really use a KitchenAid. While at first I balked at it’s size and ability to take up all my counter space, I now realize that it’s a necessary tool to bake all the cakes and pies I want to make!

@A Super Girl, yeah i totally understand. i’m still in shock about how much a mixer costs and how much room it would take up, but i think it would be awesome!
Wow! Cooking is a skill i so admire because… You know… I don’t have it. Haha, I can’t cook, I hate cooking, but i love the end result. I’m horrible
I actually don’t even have a kitchen at the moment.

@Lorien, i never used to like cooking but it grew on me. i’m still more of a baker though
Dude. Your list is my list! I would LOVE a Kitchen Aid mixer, and I am in serious need of the basics like cookie sheets, measuring cups, etc… I hate spending a ton of money on those things, but I end up needing them a lot so I just need to suck it up and go on a kitchen shopping spree!

@Lauryn, i know, there are so many other cooler things that i want, but then when i’m in the kitchen i’m like dang i wish i had that! maybe a shopping trip is in order!
I used to love baking. But I’ve lost my baking groove. Lately I’ve been reaching for the boxed mixes instead of making things from scratch. It’s just not in me anymore. I sort of miss it.
