So this doesn’t seem like a big deal but it is to me. You might recall my post about how my mom was totally against me ever dying my hair. And honestly, until recently I didn’t really want to. But I’ve been thinking about it more and more lately. I’m bored and restless. I’m changing as a person, coming into myself if you will. I guess I’m just growing up. I don’t care as much what people think, though I didn’t care all that much before.
In a couple months I might be someone totally different. But the path I’m on right now, I feel funky. Maybe I’m a closet funky person. I love chunky highlights. Lily’s hair? LOVE IT! I wish I had the balls to do something like that. So I took a baby step. I got highlights. They are copper red, almost the same color as my natural highlights. They are blended and to be honest, it’s not as much of a change as I was hoping for. I think the colorist was making sure I didn’t go too drastic too quick.

I don’t have a clue what my real hair color really is either. Last time I was at the hair stylist, she remarked that it was a more medium brown. i thought it was lighter. hmm….

I think it looks great….and the good thing about hair color is that it can be changed – it grows out….so we can try out new things to fit our moods….
