Alrighty. So it’s St. Patrick’s Day.
Now that I got that out of the way. (I’m Irish by the way. C laughs every time I say that. He says he looks more Irish than me. Well can I help it if I’m predominately Filipino? My Great Grams was Irish which makes me about 1/8. Not that I’ll celebrate today, I just wanted you to know. Also, why do we celebrate St. Patrick’s day? Is it just to have a day to drink? Seriously, someone please tell me.)

And this was pretty much my weekend. I can’t complain. We spent most of it outside! It was nice to get some fresh air and sunshine.

I also raked a ton of leaves and we aren’t even 1/4 of the way finished. Craziness. C put his new chainsaw to work and cut up some wood. We won’t have to worry about not having firewood, that’s for sure. The yard is going to take a little while before it’s finished but it will be worth it. I felt like an archaeologist uncovering stone stairs, flower beds and even a fountain pond!

and yeah i’m pretty sure today is just for drinking. because otherwise we should be having a German Day, Norwegian Day and Bohemian Day for me

Spring in the midwest is a beautiful thing, isn’t it? I love how excited everyone gets about 60+ degree days like we had here in Minne also! The pictures look great

Aww…. looks like you had a great weekend! I’m not Irish, nor is the huz- we don’t drink and don’t celebrate it either, just not that into it I guess. It’s just an excuse for people to get wasted. Now, that’s just been my personal experience. Not saying everyone, just my experience. Oh well, a day to get wasted and blow off steam- I’m thinking you and C are loving your new digs! Have fun discovering new stuff!
