*Quote from Rush Hour 2. Alternatively titled “Holy Eggrolls Batman” for no reason other than I’m cracked.
3 years ago my dad promised to buy me my very own wok. I don’t know why I wanted my own since he never showed me how to use a wok but I wanted it. I was tired of making fried rice in a pan. He agreed but we both are against the new flat bottom woks. So it took 3 years for my dad to located a round bottom wok that wasn’t a million dollars (obviously I’m being dramatic). I got it for Christmas butI just now took it down from it’s home on a shelf in my kitchen. It’s pretty, all stainless steel and made in China. It came with a shitload of accessories, some I’m not even sure what they are for lol.
I made a trip to the Filipino store yesterday and last night I made these lovelies.

we don't fry things often but it was totally worth it last night

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

seriously mmmmmmmmmmmm

finished and ready to eat!
In other “what I did last night” I played dress up. When I stopped at my dad’s house yesterday I grabbed a box with old dresses that were my moms. Possibly her prom dress and a couple other formals. I was excited they all fit. There is one that I really wanted to get cleaned because I think it’s cute. Maybe if I got it altered a little I could wear it to a future wedding. This one was so itchy, but it was pretty for it’s time.
I’m so cool. LOL.
Hope you had a great weekend!

you’re sooo cute, and i think it’s sweet to wear something your own mother has worn before. ♥
Those….look very yummy!!
Dude, ruffles are so IN! I think that dress, with a lot of creative alteration, could be very chic. But it would need a smart seamstress.
That dress if fabulous, and I am so jealous of the eggrolls! They look delicious!
Yummy! Those look tasty!
That dress is awesome! You look pretty!!!
Oh and woks are the best invention in the whole wide world. I use mine so often that I’ve been given 2!
Kick ass wok! So, you just put it right over the burner? I thought they were electric, that ya just plug them in to an outlet? No? That’s extremely cool! We love fried rice, or szschwan (sp?) chicken, or garlic chicken, or the killer soft noodles, but I do not know how to cook any of that stuff. I have tried and failed miserably. Is your fried rice recipe easy???
How neat that you were able to get your hands on some of your mothers belongings. The dress is pretty! I hope you are ok after trying them on…. {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}
Very pretty, lady.
Hot Dress! I hope you wear that to work soon.
