I finally got some time to get some work done. I was able to take December 21-22 off with the promise of me working from home. Yeah. With the move, Christmas and the furnace going out on both December 21-22 I didn’t get all that much work done. I’ve been stressing about it. The power was supposed to be back on in our new house but it is not yet, so I’m still at the house we rented. It works out well since I feel somewhat accomplished since I packed some boxes earlier. I felt comfortable sitting down to work without having the other rooms nagging at me. I’m hopeful our power will be back on tomorrow but we are getting ANOTHER wind storm tonight. Keep you fingers crossed this won’t affect us.
Anyhow I’m very nostalgic today. I keep having clips of memories flit through my brain. It’s very distracting! It makes me go back to my journal and reminisce or look at old pictures (mostly I’m making the most ridiculous faces! *blush)
Is everyone ready for New Year’s Eve? I don’t have any major plans, just hoping to be unpacking and setting up my office. I know I’m so exciting.
I’ve caught up on my google reader. It sounds like everyone had a pretty good Christmas.

Oh so that’s what your twitter message was about!
Yesterday I worked on my book, and got the first chapter down. I also reached out to my networks and found some resources for first had perspectives on WWII and how it affected Filipinos.
