Uhhh…omg I volunteered to guest post and now I have nothing to write. There’s always sooo much pressure to write something funny and great and have it be all that and a bag of chips. Yes chips. Chips are good. Sometimes. Anyhoo- Hi!!! I’m Emma from Emma Elizabeth (also formerly AP from It’s a Glamorous Life). So while the lovely Miss Ria is out having a fabulous time, I will do my best to um…. not bore you to tears.
So I wanted to ask- what is sexy to you?
I had this conversation with a friend a few days ago because (don’t judge) I want a corset. Specifically, the one in Victoria’s Secret. I found it online last week and haven’t been able to tell myself no from getting it. A corset though! How 1900’s of me right? But it’s seriously a throw back to old Hollywood glamour and I love it. My friend and I were discussing how women sometimes just wear sexy undergarments for just themselves. A confidence booster. You know we all feel sexy and confident when we’re secretly wearing something fabulous. Well- at least I do. 
I’m , despite just putting it all out there for the public, too shy to really admit I want this. And I can’t get over the fact that it’s a corset and haven’t women worked hard to get away from the constraints men have put us in? Think- women’s movement. Anyways… sexy is not just glam undergarments.
The guy who wears oddly paired clothes, who can’t dance to save his soul but tries so hard, who makes you laugh, who eases your fears about being judged about something etc is sexy. I’m a simple girl underneath the makeup, hair, Coach purses, Blackberry, and inheritance. I don’t care about money or where you come from or what you do. A guy willing to make it past all that- is sexy.
Old Hollywood Glam anything is sexy.
Vintage is sexy.
Prince William is sexy.
Confidence, humor, honesty and ambition is sexy.
But you know what is not sexy? THIS. Apparently some people use this as exercise. You can thank me later for that link.

One thing popped right into my mind…. a few weeks ago I was walking down the hall at work. A SHARP dressed man comes walking by- I mean, SHARP (I swear, he was glowing) – crispy clean, perfectly dressed to a “T” – and…. as he passed, I smelled the. most. heavenly. cologne. I have ever smelled. I swear, I was overcome by a sudden urge to run after him and jump him… then I thought about sexual harrassement and all that, oh, and the fact that I’m married (to a wonderful angel) with 3 kids…. but seriously, so schnazzy and the smell, it was absolute perfection!

Things that are sexy… ok this is super dorky and I feel all exposed revealing it, but I think the sexiest part about being a woman, well, the sexiest part of a woman’s body is the side of the breast right under the armpit… just that little curve.
I also agree that the right pair of underwear can make you feel sexy too!
As for guys… sweat pants are sexy, boxer briefs, hair I can get my fingers in, my new man is musically really gifted so listening to him sing and play makes me melt into a puddle and want to jump him instantly.

i think confidence is sexy. a guy who can walk into a situation confidently, but not arrogantly, is hot to me. i’m also attracted to guys who look good in hats. yum.
Humor is sexy to me. Someone who doesn’t try to be funny or isn’t OBNOXIOUS but someone who is genuinely funny!
im going to have to agree with that. a guy that can see past appearance and can see whats underneath is VERY sexy indeed.
There’s a shop by my house that makes custom corsets. I’m always intrigued by the window displays…they look so fun!
What is sexy? You mean besides me? ha ha, just kidding… I wish I had that kinda confidence.
I think being confident is sexy. Nice arms are sexy. A guy taking control is sexy. Intelligence is sexy. A guy who can make me laugh, even when I’m having a bad day is sexy. A guy who isn’t afraid to show his feelings around his friends or out in public is sexy.

I think construction workers are kind of sexy. An honest day’s work, working with your hands. Getting sweaty. I think it’s sexy.
Hmm sexy to me is an athletic guy, someone who works hard and has good values. And the v shaped body. Yum. Sex-y
I hate to be the lamo, but I just have to do it, because even though this third-generation feminism is in full force, there’s one minor detail that tends to get overlooked. Even though technically we decide what’s “sexy”, by calling it “sexy”, the concept itself is still built around what men find attractive. Now, you may say you don’t have any man in mind when you put something “sexy” on; that you’re doing it for you, to build confidence, but why does a slinky pair of underwear make you feel confident? Why not a really baggy pair of sweatpants, or a veil? Just something to think about. Ok, that’s it. Resume the having fun. Btw – Nerds are sexy. Ha.
Here’s what I find sexy:
1. Tousled Hair… when he doesn’t put gel in it and it just looks incredibly hot
2. Someone who has a good sense of humour
3. Justin Timberlake… enough said

I love the corset!!! I think they are sexy. I had one that I wore to a bar, it was an appropriate one that could be wore as a club shirt (*blushes) and I loved it! It was hot pink and had black stitching
men’s arms are sexy. not the huge muscle builder ones but the ‘i work them out occasionally so you can see the muscles flex when they pick something up’. i also find the “happy trail” sexy. Thin lips and eyes! oh those are all physical. i swear i’m not that shallow
i find intelligence and sense of humor sexy as well
