Background: I drove C and my dad to the kidney walk on Sunday.  I spend a lot of alone time in the car where I yell at other drivers, but I try to contain myself when there are other people present.  We sat on the exit ramp for a good 20 minutes because after at least 6 years of kidney walks they haven’t figured out the traffic flow.  The car ahead of us was acting like a moron.

Me: You jackass

C: geez watch your mouth

my dad: I didn’t teach you how to talk like that

Me: geez it wasn’t that bad (thinking: wow what would they think if they heard my daily morning commute?)

C: you’re talking like a sailor

Me: no I wasn’t

Later C and I were driving back from Target:

Me: why did you give me such a hard time earlier when we were going to the kidney walk?

C: what do you mean? you said ‘fucking jackass’, you might have said ‘what the fuck, you fucking jackass’

Me: No I didn’t

C: you don’t even know what you said (laughs)

Me: (face turning red) shit I didn’t mean to say that out loud…

Note to self: don’t ever drive dad anywhere else
