Well technically, we are starting the last day of March but we want to start on a Monday. Oh dear, and when I say “we” I mean Irish Cailin and I. It’s our second, month long, photo blog challenge. Here are the rules:
- You have to blog a photo every day
- It has to be something of a certain color (blue, green, yellow, red)
- It has to be one of the 7 items previously established (food, nature, clothing/fabric, text, office supplies, household item, wild card)
- Each week you have to capture an item in each of these categories
This week’s color is blue and today’s category is office supplies:

It’s amazing how inspiring reading blogs has been to me.
I had a couple private blogs that I would randomly update, but it wasn’t enough. Since I’ve started this blog, and really started blogging, I’ve realized how much I’ve missed writing every day. I know some of it’s mundane stuff, you know the daily grind, but other posts are personal or entertaining (I hope) and I love every single minute of sharing stuff with the new people I’ve “met”.
I know I really need to update my blogroll, because seriously, my google reader is overflowing! SleepyJane’s is one of my favorite bloggers, and you should totally check her blog out if you haven’t already. And on this rainy, crappy Michigan morning, she decided to award me! (This is some exciting stuff, it definitely turned my Monday around. Thanks SleepyJanes!)

And this is why I made sure I got my ass out of bed by 8am this morning:
Barry, he’s a black spaniel mix. He’s sweet and gentle and I can’t stand going a week without seeing him. I really hope he finds a home soon, he deserves one. His owners dropped him off because they couldn’t care for him any more 
It was a great day to be at the shelter. Barry and I spent almost 45 mins outside in the sunshine.
Today was C♥’s birthday! So to celebrate we went to lunch at Ashley’s to check out their beer selection:
I had a raspberry beer that was made right in Marshall Michigan. Chuck had Boddington’s (London) & McEwans (Scotland). We had Chicago style deep dish pizza with mushrooms, onions and banana peppers. Delicious!
One more thing, we took the baby doggies for a walk:
What makes the walk even better is Nani pooed right in the middle of the street and when C♥ picked it up…a piece fell into the palm of his hand…*snickers*

Participate in the Earth Hour tomorrow at 8pm local time. Light some candles, pull out a board game or spend some time in the darkness with your honey. It can’t hurt to save some CO2.

Dear management:
Today I need to take a personal confinement day. I am not fit for human contact. Though I may be sitting at my desk, my mind is residing in aforementioned imaginary life. It’s much more exciting and fulfilling. Hopefully, I will be able to face reality tomorrow.
