Overweight kids with health problems are beginning to be the norm (it's not surprising with the lack of exercise and vast majority of McDonalds & Burger Kings). There are specials airing on 20/20 that try to bring attention to it . Not to mention the Maury episodes where 2 year-olds are walking around gnawing on whole chicken legs and can't fit into toddler diapers.
